Job Description

Role Summary The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized, high energy and detail oriented individual who will be assisting the Line Manager in managing the budget and contractual obligations of projects. The objective of the role is to closely monitor project finances and ensure that contractual obligations are met. Responsibilities Prepare payment applications and negotiate with Engineer's representative. Prepare variation proposals and engage in the variation process. Extract quantities from drawings and verify with site. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including verification of utilized quantities in completed work, review of interim payment applications, etc. Prepare project cash flow. Monitor project budgets in order to ensure the profitability of projects. Manage cost reporting systems, including Cost to Complete. Provide necessary input for the Finance department in preparation of company annual projects budget. Assist preparation of claims. Prepare progress reports for progress meetings. Ensure timely submission of invoices to client. Ensure that all project related data has been collected accurately for invoicing. Ensure that Advance payment has been collected against the submission of Advance payment bond in a timely manner. Identify and resolve discrepancies related to the submitted invoices. Meeting with clients to resolve any issues related to the invoices / payments. Ensure regular and timely follow up on due payments to avoid any delays in payments. Ensure that payment certificates have been received from each project and invoices have been certified and forwarded to the accounts department of the Client. Follow up to ensure the release of Original Guarantees, Security cheques and other required documentation, once projects are completed and on or before defects liability period. Identify the Variations in Contract costs to swiftly update the information with the Estimation department.
