We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Quantity Surveyor

to join our consultancy team in

Abu Dhabi / Dubai

. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and contract management, with proven experience implementing

ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 procedures

within design and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for various projects Conduct cost control and value engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations and assist in contract negotiations Manage interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts Implement and monitor compliance with

ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards

ISO 9001 procedures specific to Design and Construction

workflows Ensure accurate quantity take-offs and adherence to project specifications and drawings Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions Assist in risk assessments and project forecasting Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to cost and procurement

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field Minimum

12 years of professional experience

, with at least

2 years in the same role within a related industry

Consultancy experience is required

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 implementation in construction and design environments Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction law Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, CANDY, or similar) UAE experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., MRICS or equivalent) ISO Internal Auditor certification is an advantage Experience with government/semi-government projects is a plus Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and Dubai municipality regulations
