Job Summary: Looking for a Quantity Surveyor in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Job Key Details:
- Assess construction plans and prepare quantity requirements
- Liaise with the site managers, clients, contractors as well as subcontractors
- Monitor materials and order for more when necessary
- Record any changes in design and update budgets
- Set up and maintain professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Assist in preparing reports, contracts, budgets, risk assessment as well as other documents
- Monitor changes to designs as well as construction works and adjust budget projections as required
- Generate tender and contract documents such as bills of quantities details concerning quantities with identified commercial risks
- Conduct any other related tasks as may be required
- Possess a Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Economics from a recognized institution
- At least 2 or more years of related working experience
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills
- Should be able to read and interpret engineering plans
- Good negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Should be able to organize, plan and strategize
- Good computer knowledge required
