Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
We are looking for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our project team. It will be tasked with reviewing, planning, preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, building relationships with clients and site managers. GRG, GRC, Gypsum Ceiling & Drywall Partition, Painting Works, Wall Cladding and other related work is mandatory. Job responsibilities:
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- All related activities of post contract QS-Estimation work.
- Review and Prepare contracts for secured projects.
- Deal with Consultant/Client to finalize the variations evaluation and changes.
- Open preliminary budgets for secured projects and coordinate with project procurements on advising the budgeted cost to monitor the commercial values.
- Ensuring that payments / notices are issued in accordance with the subcontract and Construction Act and, ensure any commercial threats to projects are identified swiftly and communicated to the Commercial Manager.
- Attending meetings (pre orders, design meetings, package review meetings) and ensuring that surveying information and cost advice is provided in an accurate and proficient manner.
Contract length: 24 months Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Experience:
- Gypsum Works: 3 years (Required)
