Your Tasks
Lead all regulatory activities across the MENA region for both cosmetics and healthcare portfolios (OTC medical devices), ensuring full compliance with national regulations and business timelines.
Act as the primary point of contact with key regulatory bodies, managing queries, audits, and authority meetings with professionalism and responsiveness.
Own the preparation, submission, and lifecycle management of product registrations (new, renewal, variations), coordinating with distributors, health authorities, and internal functions.
Validate quality requirements for finished goods, relabeling, rework, or product customization activities done in-market; ensure proper approvals, documentation, and batch check and release.
Define and execute the Regulatory Affairs & Quality strategy & priorities for MENA in alignment with global and regional strategies & objectives, tailored to local market needs and complexities.
Define and oversee the Consumer Interaction Management process for quality-related topics, ensuring timely investigation, response, and escalation of consumer complaints in alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 8 specialists and associates, fostering a collaborative, empowered, and compliance & quality-driven culture.
Build effective partnerships with external stakeholders to ensure they meet Beiersdorf standards and support continuous business continuity. * Drive readiness for emerging regulatory changes and trends. Proactively adapting priorities and strategy where needed.
Your Profile
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline (mandatory).
Minimum 6-10 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs and Quality in FMCG, cosmetics, or healthcare.
Proven experience managing a team and interfacing with local regulatory authorities in MENA.
Prior experience working with international brands and multi-market portfolios.
UAE licensed pharmacist - is an added advantage
Solid understanding of MENA regulatory frameworks for cosmetics and medical devices, with proven experience engaging governmental bodies and regulatory authorities.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex requirements and translating them into actionable plans.
