Overview

**This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP**

The Quality Lead is responsible for performance monitoring of program functional areas through the Voice of the Customer, training database management, process improvement projects, reports, SharePoint management, and coordinating outputs and statuses with auditing program, document control program, process development, Corrective actions and VIP projects. Responsibilities also include gathering and analyzing data from both the Quality PMO functions as well as specific TO data and recommending courses of action to improve performance or resolve problems. Responsible to implement a Quality Communication Program to educate Employees. Ensures all quality systems comply with ISO 9001-2015 standards. This position will report to the Quality Manager (Operation).

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Monitors program functions for compliance with the PWS & ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).

+ Gathers data, conducts statistical and trend analysis; identifies process controls and performance metrics to assist in measuring process performance and continuous improvement.

+ Monitors and oversees the Voice of the Customer Program, ensuring all data is collected, analyzed, and reported timely.

+ May perform root cause research and analysis of process failures and product nonconformities.

+ Participate and facilitate, as required, in Quality partnering meetings with Internal and External Customers.

+ Develops programs and procedures as requested by the Quality Manager (Ops) to enhance operations.

+ Leads a small Operations Team for creative improvement ideas, individual job duty and final product timely completed.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Education/Certifications: Two years related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ High School Diploma.

+ ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor certification (or able to obtain).

+ Must have valid drivers license and be able to possess Kuwait Drivers License.

+ Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:

+ To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements. As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment.

+ Experience:

+ Five (5) to seven (7) years of Operations experience years with at least 7 years in contracting environment.

+ Successful candidate must also show evidence of knowledge and experience in DMAIC, 5S & Kaizen methodologies, and developing, implementing and managing continuous improvement projects.

+ SKILLS:

+ Must be well organized.

+ Must have excellent knowledge with multiple database management (Share-Point & Maximo) and Microsoft office products.

+ Candidate must also be able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

+ SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ May fill in as a Quality Manager (Ops) as necessary.

+ WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

+ Work is generally conducted in an office environment; however, duties will involve working in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions, i.e. temperatures over 120 degrees for extended periods.

+ Must be able to travel 20% of the time.

+ PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

+ Work will require lifting up to 25 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire and Safety Regulations and published company work rules. Business travel may be required to Hazardous areas.
