Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in fabrication to join our team in Sharjah. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all fabricated products meet quality standards, implementing inspection procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality assurance processes specific to fabrication.

Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process fabrication, and final products.

Ensure compliance with international quality standards (ISO, ASME, AWS, etc.) and company policies.

Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and records.

Coordinate with production, design, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Review welding procedures, material test certificates, and fabrication drawings for compliance.

Monitor non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Support audits (internal & external) and liaise with clients/third-party inspectors.

Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a fabrication industry.

Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, machining, assembly).

Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, AWS D1.1.

Experience in handling client and third-party inspections.

Proficiency in quality tools & techniques (NDT, QA/QC documentation, root cause analysis).

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in CSWIP / AWS / NDT Level II will be an advantage.

Prior experience in the UAE/GCC fabrication industry.
