Our client is a global solar energy organization providing leading edge technology solutions across a diverse range of residential and commercial sectors.

As part of their growth, we are hiring a UAE experienced quality engineer to join their UAE team based in Dubai.

The role is responsible for the health, safety and environmental compliance for all UAE based solar energy projects.

Role Summary

• Develop and implement quality assurance systems, policies, processes and documentation for the lifecycle of solar projects.

• Conduct quality assurance inspections and audits on all project sites to identify quality issues and non-conformity.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with scope of work design specifications, contractual and federal mandatory requirements and engineering standards.

• Identify risks and areas of improvement \xe2\x80\x93 root cause analysis and corrective / preventative actions to address quality issues to enhance project performance.

• Develop and maintain effective quality control documentation including inspection and audit checklists, test plans and records.

• Develop and implement quality assurance training for all project stakeholders.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control activities and training and implement improvements for continuous learning.

• Collaborate with testing laboratories and certification bodies for required inspections and tests; review and verify test results and documentation for compliance.

• Identify areas for quality assurance improvement.

• Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability across the organization.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5 \xe2\x80\x93 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 as a quality engineer or quality assurance specialist from the UAE construction, solar or renewables sector with deep expertise in quality assurance and quality management principles, methodologies and systems.

• Familiarity with testing and certification for solar construction projects.

• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.

• Ability to implement quality assurance and quality management systems and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and optimize quality outputs.

Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree

• Certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt is a strong advantage.

Candidate Profile

• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must be able live and work in Dubai.

• Fluent in English \xe2\x80\x93 excellent written and verbal English skills.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to effectively train colleagues and contractors.
