We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented

Quality Controller

with experience in

product development

of snacks like protein bars, protein cookies and other functional snacks to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for maintaining our high quality and hygiene standards, while also contributing to the

development of new retail products

and improving

shelf life and food preservation techniques

in addition to managing the operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

Monitor and inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished products Implement and update quality assurance protocols, SOPs, and food safety checklists Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and Dubai Municipality regulations Conduct hygiene audits, manage documentation, and coordinate with inspection bodies Identify and manage non-conformities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions

Product Development & Shelf-Life Extension:

Support the R&D of long shelf-life gluten-free Snacks, Protein bars, Protein products, and functional Desserts. Test and recommend natural preservatives, shelf-life enhancers, and clean-label solutions Collaborate with the chef team to optimize recipes for flavor, texture, and shelf life Conduct trials, shelf-life studies, and sensory evaluations Stay updated with trends in gluten-free, clean-label, and functional ingredients

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Food Science or Food Technology 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, quality control, and/or product development of Pastry, Bread and Snacks in UAE and GCC Strong understanding of HACCP, ISO 22000, and local UAE food regulations Passion for gluten-free innovation, nutrition, and food science Experience in shelf-life extension and natural preservation techniques Have experience in managing teams
