Royal Food Industries is a FMCG manufacturer based in Ras Al Khaimah & Umm Al Quwain, UAE. Some of our products are Juice Powder, Milk Powder, Custard Powder, Oats, Evaporated Milk, Cream, Tomato Paste, and Sauces. We are looking for a Quality Controller that has a background in Research & Development within Food Manufacturing Industry in Dry Products, Dairy, and Sauces. Please note that this vacancy is available for either Ras Al-Khaimah or Umm Al-Quwain. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring food safety, quality assurance policies for the entire company, and creating a hygienic manufacturing environment.
• Reports quality problems, maintains a record of inspections, prepares a list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specifications, and facilitates the acceptance as per standards.
• Establish, document, and improve Quality Management System (QMS) based on HACCP and ISO 22000 principles.
• Review all documents and certifications, and make changes when and where required in accordance with regulations and procedures ensuring that incoming materials (all raw materials & packaging materials), producing goods, and finished goods are in line with the company quality standards.
• In charge of leading continuous improvement programs within the company, using relevant quality management framework models such as 5s and lean manufacturing etc.
• Required to initiate and be actively involved in new product development and ensures the continuous improvement of existing products.
• Should work together with Purchasing Department to update and maintain documentation of products and recipes.
• Assist in the maintenance of food safety and hygiene standards as per the laws and regulations that applies to all products within the UAE, whilst following up on new launched products for at least six (6) months to one (1) year after launch.
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance of rules and regulations for import, export, local and international sales, and new products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Food Engineering or other related course.
• Minimum experience of 3 years in Food Manufacturing Industry.
• Must be familiar with UAE Food Standards.
• Knowledge of Food Certification Requirements.
