Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Controller to join our Food manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and service standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control Systems:

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and SOPs for food manufacturing processes.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Dubai Municipality, HACCP, ISO, and food safety regulations.

2. Audits and Inspections:

- Conduct routine audits and inspections across all sites to ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and service standards.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

3. Training and Development:

- Train supervisors and staff on quality assurance standards and best practices.

- Identify skill gaps and ensure continuous training on hygiene, sanitation, and customer service.

4. Incident Investigation:

- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for quality-related issues.

- Implement corrective actions and preventative measures.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, non-conformities, and corrective actions.

- Prepare quality reports and present findings to management with recommendations for improvements.

6. Client Relations:

- Support external audits and client inspections.

- Respond to client complaints regarding service quality and implement corrective measures.

7. Continuous Improvement:

- Proactively identify areas of improvement across operations and recommend solutions.

- Work closely with operations, production staff, and site supervisors to ensure consistent service delivery.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field.

- Proven experience in quality assurance or control in a food / dairy manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, HACCP, ISO, and food safety regulations.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
