Job description The Quality Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the Quality Management System (QMS) in an ISO 9001:2015 and API-approved company. This role involves ensuring compliance with ISO and API standards, maintaining and improving quality processes, and fostering a culture of excellence in delivering products and services. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the ISO 9001:2015 and API quality management system.
- Manage external audits and regulatory assessments, ensuring compliance and addressing non-conformities.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance processes, systems, and procedures.
- Maintain detailed quality records, prepare reports, and communicate performance to stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier quality and performance, conducting audits and facilitating improvements.
- Foster customer satisfaction through quality products and services, managing feedback and complaints.
- Provide employee training to ensure adherence to quality standards and promote a quality-focused culture.
- Identify and mitigate quality-related risks, ensuring product safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments to address quality concerns and promote teamwork.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and best practices pertinent to ISO and API requirements.
- Bachelor\'s degree in a related field.
- Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor).
- Extensive experience in quality management, particularly in ISO and API environments.
- Proficiency in ISO 9001:2015 and API Q1/Q2 standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of quality tools, inspection and methodologies.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
