Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector with a fabrication background to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of steel fabrication processes, quality inspection standards, and international welding codes.

Key Responsibilities

Insect raw materials, in-process fabrication, and final products for compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Ensure welding work meets standards (AWS, ASME, or equivalent).

Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using measurement tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.

Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.

Assist in internal and external audits and third-party inspections.

Coordinate with production, welding, and design teams to resolve quality issues.

Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with quality management systems.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 2-5 years' experience in Quality Control, preferably in steel fabrication industry.

Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and quality documentation.

Familiar with ISO 9001, WPS/PQR, and NDT procedures.

Hindi-speaking is mandatory; English is preferred.

Must be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
