Job Description

We are seeking a

Quality Control (QC) Site Engineer

with strong experience in the

joinery and fit-out field

. The role is responsible for ensuring that all joinery works, installations, and finishes meet the highest quality standards, project specifications, and client requirements. The QC Engineer will monitor site activities, inspect works, identify non-conformities, and coordinate corrective actions to achieve successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site inspections of joinery works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. Verify dimensions, alignments, and finishes of joinery installations (doors, wardrobes, kitchens, wall cladding, counters, etc.). Review material deliveries to ensure they meet project requirements and approved samples. Monitor the installation process to ensure workmanship is consistent with company standards. Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, checklists, and documentation for client approvals. Identify and report any non-conformities or defects, and coordinate corrective/preventive actions with the site team. Assist in preparing mockups and obtain client/consultant approvals. Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of joinery items on site. Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and the production team to resolve technical/site issues. Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards during site execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in

quality control within joinery / fit-out projects

(UAE/GCC experience preferred). Strong knowledge of joinery details, materials (timber, veneers, laminates, MDF, solid wood, etc.), and finishes. Familiarity with quality standards, ISO procedures, and site inspection protocols. Strong communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is an advantage). Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under pressure.
