Job Summary: The Quality Control Manager in the Plastic Industry is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet established quality standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, overseeing testing and inspection processes, and collaborating with production teams to enhance overall product quality. The QC Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures for the plastic manufacturing process. Establish and communicate quality standards and specifications for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of quality control technicians and inspectors. Provide training and guidance to ensure that the team is proficient in conducting inspections and tests. Inspection and Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Analyze and interpret test results, and work with production teams to address any non-conformities. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities, test results, and inspections. Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to management. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to plastic manufacturing. Ensure that the company\'s quality control processes align with regulatory requirements. Customer Relations: Collaborate with customers to understand their quality expectations and address any quality-related concerns. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to communicate quality information to customers. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with the procurement team to establish and maintain quality standards for suppliers. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality requirements. Qualifications and Skills: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science). \xc2\xb7 Proven experience in quality control within the plastic manufacturing industry. \xc2\xb7 5-10 year of proven experience \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of plastic materials, processing techniques, and quality standards. \xc2\xb7 Leadership and team management skills. \xc2\xb7 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with quality management systems and tools. \xc2\xb7 Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers. \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high product quality.
