Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented quality control manager to ensure our services run smoothly and meet our quality and efficiency standards. The quality control manager understands the customer\'s needs and requirements and coordinates employee efforts and communications between management and other departments.

The quality control manager develop and implement quality controls to ensure the company\xe2\x80\x99s performance is what it should be, inspecting at various stages and writing reports on their findings to take action where needed.

To be successful as a quality control manager, you should have excellent communication and listening skills, with strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

The quality control manager must fully understand the requirements for the products or services the company provide and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the competition.

The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are always at the best possible levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
  • Devising ways to improve the process to ensure higher-quality services.
  • Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for enhanced processes, and training staff to use them.
  • Developing quality control policies and standards for the teams to follow.
  • Training staff members on the quality control processes and policies.
  • Implement and manage a quality management and performance tracking program that creates an atmosphere of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.
  • Oversee all service and product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Perform direct quality inspections in person for each location where our services are provided.
  • Lead programs to create value for clients to ensure program deliveries meet or exceed expectations.
  • Supervising and providing guidance to the team as needed.
  • Continuously finding ways to improve the process.
  • Documenting their findings and submitting reports.
  • Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives.
  • Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
  • Inspecting the service, comparing it to the standard requirements.
  • Gaining feedback from the clients to assess whether their requirements are met and to develop better process.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as quality manager in yachting, hospitality or luxury industry is preferred.
  • Strong attention to details, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
