Salary Budget: AED 6,000 - 10,000 per month (Total Compensation)

About the Role

NVR HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Quality control Civil Engineer

to join our Supervision/Consultancy team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a critical role in monitoring and controlling project execution and handover, ensuring all civil works adhere to the highest standards of quality, specifications, and regulatory compliance. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with significant experience in a consultancy environment in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Compliance:

Monitor and control project execution and handover, ensuring strict adherence to Project Design Drawings, Specifications, Project Contracts, QA/QC Plan, HSE Plan, and all relevant Authority Regulations (including Dubai Municipality).

Documentation Review:

Review and provide timely comments/approvals on all engineering submissions, including

Shop Drawings, Material & Technical Submittals, and Method Statements

Inspections:

Review and approve all stages of site works, including

Work Inspections

and

Material Inspections

.

Information Management:

Review and provide clarity on

Requests for Information (RFI's)

and

Consultant's Verbal Instructions (CVI's)

.

Commercial & Planning Review:

Evaluate and provide feedback on

Payment Applications

,

Variation Claims

,

Extension of Time (EOT) Claims

, and other submissions from Main and Sub-Contractors. Review project schedules, including

Project Baseline Program, Construction Program, and Look-ahead programs

.

Meetings & Reporting:

Conduct weekly

Progress Review & Technical Meetings

, accurately prepare, and issue

Minutes of Meeting (MOM's)

.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Serve as a key coordinator with all Project Stakeholders, including the

Client, Consultant Office, Main Contractor, Authorities, Sub-Contractors, Nominated Sub-Contractors, and Suppliers

, to ensure successful project execution, completion, and handover.

Non-Conformance:

Monitor project non-compliances, issue

Non Conformity (NC)

and

Site Observation Notices

, and coordinate with responsible parties to ensure timely and effective compliance implementation.

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil Engineering

from a recognized university.

Total Experience:

Minimum

5+ years

of total experience in QA/QC Civil Engineering,

UAE Experience (Required):

Minimum 2

years

of experience working with

Principal Consultants

Minimum 2

years

of experience working with

Main Contractor Companies

Home Country Experience:

Minimum

2 to 4 years

of experience with a Main Contractor or Developer in your home country

Desirable (Advantageous)

Advanced Degree:

Master's degree in Construction or Project Management.

Certifications:

Dubai Municipality (DM) Certified and/or Specialized Certifications in Quality Management, Quality Assurance & Control.
