Job Summary:

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities and materials comply with project specifications, codes, and standards. This role involves conducting inspections, monitoring construction quality, preparing reports, and coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure adherence to approved drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Inspect construction materials, workmanship, and methods to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Review and verify all materials delivered to site are as per approved submittals and standards.

Conduct site inspections and issue non-conformance reports (NCR) when deviations are found.

Monitor and record daily construction activities, inspection requests (IRs), and test results.

Ensure all tests on materials (concrete, steel, soil, waterproofing, etc.) are carried out as per approved ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).

Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and clients for inspection approvals and quality documentation.

Maintain QA/QC records such as material approvals, calibration certificates, inspection reports, and test results.

Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance procedures and checklists.

Ensure subcontractors follow approved quality control procedures and safety standards.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management review.

Support the Project Manager in achieving compliance with ISO and local authority requirements.

Knowledge and skill Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control or QA/QC within a building contracting company.

Knowledge: UAE construction standards, ISO 9001, and local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, ADM, etc.).

Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent reporting and documentation skills, ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Certifications: QA/QC training or certification preferred; ISO 9001 awareness is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
