Monitor and inspect construction processes to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and standards.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Material Testing & Inspection
Conduct or supervise field and laboratory testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete, soil, asphalt, steel).
Approve materials and workmanship based on test results and visual inspections.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality records.
Maintain quality documentation for audits and project handover.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and third-party inspectors.
Provide technical guidance and training to site staff on quality standards and procedures.
Problem Solving
Identify quality issues and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
