Job Description
- Preparation of work Procedures for Routine & Samples Testing's
- Testing of Incoming raw Materials for Assurance of quality
- Testing Include Dielectric Test, Voltage Withstand Testing on Finished Cables, Insulation Resistance Test, Hot Set Test Ageing Test, Cold Temperature test Etc.
- Conduct thorough inspections of cables at various production stages to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize advanced testing equipment, such as insulation resistance testers and continuity testers, to evaluate cable performance and safety.
- Analyze test results and compile detailed reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions for any deviations from quality standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection logs, test reports, and non-conformance reports.
- Perform root cause analysis for quality issues, utilizing problem-solving methodologies to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as IEC and BS, relevant to low-voltage cables and systems.
- Participate in audits and assessments, both internal and external, to verify adherence to quality management systems.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in cable technology and quality control practices to enhance quality assurance processes.
- Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cable Testing
- Good Knowledge of IEC & EN testing Procedures for Fire Resistance Cables
- Strong analytical skills, enabling the candidate to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that all quality assessments are thorough and accurate.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey quality issues clearly across various departments.
- Physical ability to conduct inspections in various factory environments, including the ability to lift and maneuver testing equipment.
