The QA Officer ensures that all interior fit-out works meet the required standards and client expectations. They are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards, specifications, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
:
Develop and implement QA procedures and checklists specific to interior fit-out projects.
Conduct routine inspections at project sites to monitor quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and verify materials, finishes, and workmanship as per approved submittals and mock-ups.
Identify and document non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain and update quality records, inspection reports, and snagging logs.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits when required.
Assist in the preparation of Method Statements, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and QA documentation.
Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality-related procedures and best practices.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards as part of quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of QA experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and QA documentation tools.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
