Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager/Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the customer.

The Quality Manager will inspect the final product to make sure it has been manufactured in compliance with legal standards and meets customer expectations. A great quality manager is thorough and observant with an eye for detail.

Moreover, the responsibilities shall include understanding fully the requirements for each product and having a strong sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers, as well as awareness of the competition. The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products supports sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. Devise and review specifications for products. Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance. Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations Supervise inspectors, technicians, and other staff and provide guidance and feedback Ensures that all products within a company meet consistent standards Develop and implement quality control tests to ensure the result is according to the standard Inspecting various stages in production and writing reports on their findings Report all inspection and test data Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards Approve the right products and reject defectives Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new, efficient procedures

Requirements and Skills

Having Quality Control experience for 3-5 years in the ERW pipes and tubes industry Experience handling exports of steel pipes and tubes to the GCC, Europe, and the USA. Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (UL, CE) A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and leadership skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards Strong mathematical skills and working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods.
