Job Description

The Quality and Facilities Officer will work closely with our Quality and Operations team to help ensure that our organization gets the best possible support to deliver in line with our requirements. Maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions, interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards. Responsible for improving quality of and preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The goal is to ensure our business's accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Inspects and ensures high-quality of product are received, stored, and dispatched matches pre- determined specifications Investigates customer complaints and any non-conformance issues raised Inspects the facility to ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained. Assures ongoing compliance with quality and food safety regulatory requirements. Conduct regular internal audits to assess and enhance quality control processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and rectify any identified quality issues. Provide an interface for state and local regulatory agencies in regard to food safety concerns. Communicate the rejections and quality concerns with the supplier and maintain documents for due diligence. Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records Recommend improvement measures to the process to ensure quality control standards are met Inspection of the outlets for compliance and identifying any areas of concern. Coordinating and assisting with technical training and overall competency to management and employees with regard to the operational aspects of the food safety program, pest control, environmental, operational methods, personnel practices, maintenance for food safety, and hygiene /cleaning practices. To conduct daily checks on the personnel, of the food establishment and keep records of the findings Develop food safety documents and records as per ISO 22000:2018 requirements and monitor the maintenance of these documents Liaise with external agencies (laboratory, government bureau, ministry, health practitioners, etc.) on sanitary matters. Responsible for HACCP, ISO, and FSSC Implementation, Timely Recertification, SGS surveillance audit, Customer Audit, and closing out non-conformances ensuring the HACCP, ISO, FSSC certificate is always valid Handle emergency situations in liaison with the management and assist in RCA. Responsible for checking the warehouse to ensure that the place is clean and hazardous-free for the workers. Responsible for effective and efficient maintenance of records related to the HACCP, FSMS 22000, and ISO sanitation and hygiene efforts/program

10 years of relevant working experience in the food industry
