Job Summary: Looking for QSHE Officer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Generate, approval, review, update and distribute controlled documents as required
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety laws
• Analyze the workplace environment and create safety-management policies that identify and define the safety responsibilities of all employees
• Coordinate with relevant regulatory authorities on securing new and reporting on existing operations, permits as well as licenses in a timely manner
• Plan and support safety committee meetings at a minimum quarterly
• Create, implement and maintain processes of the Integrated Management System
• Manage the training and awareness for the proper functioning of the IMS
• Maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the company which should include first aid
• Make sure all accidents and incidents are recorded and investigated
• Make sure contractors and laborers on the site are following safety procedures
• Liaise with various departments or functional units to identify key risk areas and priorities
• Carry out reporting, risk assessments, auditing and monitor all QHSE related activities at the site
• Generate EHS internal and external audit schedules and ensure implementation of the same

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline
• At least 5 or more years of experience in the same field preferably in aluminium fabricating industry
• Good leadership and management skills
• Good organization and planning skills
• Expertise in Ms Office suite with good report writing skills
