Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Quantity Surveying (QS) & Tendering Manager

with a strong background in high-end

fit-out, interior, and architectural

projects. The role will oversee cost estimation, tender preparation, contract administration, and value engineering processes, ensuring commercially viable and competitive submissions that align with company goals.

Key Responsibilities: Tendering & Estimation:

Lead the preparation of accurate, timely, and competitive tenders and bids for fit-out and architectural projects. Analyze tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ, etc.) to prepare detailed cost estimates. Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather quotations and technical inputs. Conduct site visits and attend pre-tender meetings as necessary. Develop pricing strategies based on market conditions, client expectations, and project complexity.

Quantity Surveying:

Prepare detailed BOQs and cost plans in coordination with design and engineering teams. Manage the cost control processes from tender stage through post-contract stages. Identify and manage project risks, variations, and claims. Evaluate subcontractor quotes and assist in negotiation and finalization of contracts. Certify subcontractor payments and manage final accounts.

Commercial & Strategic Involvement:

Advise management on procurement strategies and project financials. Provide input for value engineering and cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies. Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and new materials/technologies relevant to fit-out projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum

7-10 years

of experience in tendering and quantity surveying, preferably within the

interior fit-out and architectural sector

. Strong knowledge of local market practices, codes, and pricing in the UAE/GCC (if applicable). Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, PlanSwift, or similar). Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience with high-end Residential, commercial interior fit-outs. UAE Driving License is an advantage.
