Qs Engineer
Job Description
We are urgently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer) to join a reputable interior fitout company in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and material take-offs, supporting project delivery efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), detailed cost estimates, and material take-offs.
Review and evaluate project drawings and specifications.
Assist in tendering, pricing, and preparing quotations for clients.
Coordinate with project and site teams to monitor costs and ensure budget compliance.
Track project progress and update cost reports regularly.
Prepare variations, subcontractor bills, and client invoices in a timely manner.
Ensure all activities align with project schedules and budgetary requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
1-2 years of experience in fitout or interior projects.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity take-off software.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines.
