Future Scaffolding & Aluminium Industries is looking for an experienced
QS Engineer
with a strong background in the
fabrication industry
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, budgeting, and commercial support for fabrication and aluminum-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for fabrication projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and material estimates
Monitor project costs and report variations
Handle subcontractor inquiries, evaluations, and comparisons
Assist in preparing invoices, progress claims, and final accounts
Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil, or related field
Proven experience as a QS Engineer in the
fabrication industry
(aluminum, steel, scaffolding, or related works)
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and costing
Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools
Ability to read and interpret fabrication and shop drawings
Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aluminum, facade, scaffolding, or steel fabrication projects
Familiarity with contracts, variations, and cost control procedures
