Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

QHSE Officer to oversee and maintain the

Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards of our operations in

Sharjah, UAE.

Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain QHSE management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations (UAE Labor Law, local municipality and environmental regulations). Lead accident/incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions. Organize and conduct safety training programs, toolbox talks and emergency drills for employees. Maintain up-to-date records of safety audits, fire drills, safety signage inspections and first aid kit inventories. Develop and update QHSE policies, procedures and documentation. Liaise with external bodies such as government regulators, Audits, certification bodies and clients. Promote safety awareness across all departments and ensure employees adhere to QHSE standards. Report QHSE performance indicators and improvement plans to management. Maintain records of permits, safety data sheets (SDS), PPE issuance and other HSE documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.

Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a QHSE Officer in the UAE

.

- Certified in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA or equivalent HSE certifications.

- Familiarity with ISO standards (9001/14001/45001) and internal audit processes.

- Excellent knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and municipality requirements.

- Strong communication, reporting and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and QHSE reporting tools.

- Ability to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

QHSE Officer in UAE: 2 years (Required) Rental Equipments or Contracting or Construction Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
