LIN SCAN is searching for a QHSE Officer who will be responsible for designing and implementing the QHSE Management System. The goal is to enhance effectiveness in quality and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The HSE Engineer's role includes defining HSE standards for all systems, promoting quality achievement, and improving organizational performance. Key Responsibilities & Authorities
Define Policies & Strategies for QHSE, reporting to Top Management Set standards for health, safety, and environment Define competencies for QHSE team members Oversee QHSE performance at the corporate and site levels Promote personnel development in QHSE Approve procedures for manual and IT ERP systems Design and implement HSE activities Recommend resource budgets to Top Management Train personnel, including internal auditors Approve QHSE documents and records Implement HSE standards Decide on non-conformities with the Quality Team Assess and approve actions against non-conformities Identify and implement new HSE concepts Monitor internal auditor performance Conduct QHSE audits Develop and execute QHSE plans Skills and Experience University Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical) At least 3 years of HSE experience in the engineering industry International exposure and experience in the Oil and Gas industry Certifications such as Lead Auditor ISO 45001, Nebosh HSE, NDT Level 2 (optional) Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Mobility to walk, climb, and access elevated platforms Effective communication skills Ability to focus and multitask Willingness to wear safety equipment as required Sufficient mobility and reflexes for office duties and travel #J-18808-Ljbffr
