ABOUT US : With over 50 years of industry experience, ECT is a leading aerosol manufacturer in the UAE. ECT now holds the expertise and outreach required to deliver quality products to over 50 countries. We also provide contract manufacturing for regional and international markets for aerosol products, cosmetics & prints. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Quality Control Processes: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures specific to the perfume industry. \xc2\xb7 Quality Inspections: Oversee and conduct regular inspections and tests on fragrance products to ensure they meet quality standards, including scent quality, longevity, and safety. \xc2\xb7 Team Management: Lead a team of quality control technicians or fragrance evaluators. This may involve training, and performance evaluations. \xc2\xb7 Sensory Evaluation: Utilize trained sensory panels to assess fragrances for attributes like odor intensity, character, and persistence. \xc2\xb7 Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that fragrance products comply with relevant regulations, including safety standards, labeling requirements, and ingredient restrictions. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of quality control tests, inspections, and any defects or non-conformances. \xc2\xb7 Supplier Management: Evaluate and monitor the quality of raw materials and fragrance ingredients supplied by vendors. \xc2\xb7 Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues or defects in fragrances, identify their root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. \xc2\xb7 Batch Approval: Review and approve fragrance batches before they are released for production or distribution. \xc2\xb7.Reporting: Prepare and present reports on fragrance quality control performance, issues, and recommendations to senior management. Auditing: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality control processes. \xc2\xb7 Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness within the organization. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, fragrance science). \xc2\xb7 Several years of experience in quality control, fragrance evaluation, or related roles within the perfume industry. \xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and olfactory skills for assessing fragrance attributes. \xc2\xb7 Effective communication and leadership abilities to work with various stakeholders. \xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of fragrance chemistry and industry standards. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies. \xc2\xb7 Certifications or courses related to fragrance evaluation or quality control are a plus. \xc2\xb7 Candidates willing to relocate to Umm Al Quwain are encouraged to apply. \xc2\xb7 Immediate Joining Preferred.
