:
The QC Line Inspector is responsible for inspecting products and production processes on the manufacturing line to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and internal quality plans. They identify defects, document findings, and work with production teams to maintain product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and other tests using appropriate tools and gauges.
Detect, record, and report non-conformances, defects, deviations, or discrepancies.
Monitor compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and quality plans.
Complete inspection reports, quality check sheets and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with production and QC teams to initiate corrective actions and ensure resolution of quality issues.
Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and fit for use.
Support continuous improvement and quality performance KPIs on the production floor.
Typical Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
1-5 years of quality inspection experience (industry dependent).
Knowledge of quality standards, ISO concepts and inspection techniques.
Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
