Conducting Welding Procedure Qualification Tests and Welder Performance Qualification Tests. Conduct stage wise inspections per approved ITP. Able to prepare Construction QA/QC deliverables (ITP, Procedures) in the Project. Implement WPS for welding and surveillance of welder and welding activity. Knowledge of key processes for e.g., Welding & weld overlay, Fabrication, Erection, NDE, Painting, Installation inspection of piping, steel structure, Static Equipment, including ASME U Stamp, R Stamp certification inspection and documentation. Inspector shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as ASME B 31.3, ASME Section V and IX, AWS D1.1, required for the execution of the work. Inspection of incoming permanent materials and welding consumables. Inspection of visual, dimensional and orientation compliance as per approved drawings. Conduct walk-down for completed systems with client and verification of closed punch points. Monitoring the execution activities at site to meet the ITP's, Codes, Standards, and project specification. Co-ordination with Company representative for all related topics in Project Quality department. Preparation & approval of Final dossier.
Qualifications and Competencies

Required:

Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial experience with 8+ years of experience in QA/QC department. Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and gas or petrochemical industries. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Certification in CSWIP 3.1 - Welding BGAS Grade 2/ Painting Inspection certification. Certification in ASNT level II in RT, UT, MT, PT. Hands on experience in welding, NDT, and coating / painting.
Preferred:

Candidate having prior experience in ADNOC group of Projects. Candidate having approvals from ADNOC as QA/QC Inspector in current/previous companies.
