Roles & Responsibilities

Inspect materials at all stages: incoming, in-process, and final delivery. Verify received materials against approved samples and check documents as per ITP (Inspection & Test Plan). Confirm traceable items and supporting documents during gate-level inspections. Ensure proper storage of inspected materials; maintain photo records and documentation files. Inspect mill finish materials before powder coating. Conduct gate-level inspections of powder-coated materials along with supporting documents. Utilize inspection checklists for each stage and submit reports on time. Inspect first samples at machining and assembly tables against ITP standards. Tag rejected items with quality stickers and follow up until resolution. Prepare and share rejection reports with the manager; submit monthly summaries to senior management. Communicate daily with stakeholders regarding inspection status and progress. Record daily actual vs. planned work for traceability. Inspect packing methods during delivery to ensure material protection. Inspect loaded vehicles prior to dispatch; maintain delivery order (DO) records with photos. Identify repeated rejections, analyze causes, and implement corrective actions using QC tools. Always carry and use inspection tools (tape, right angle, angle gauge, checklists, stickers, and equipment).
