Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

"Quality Control (QC) Electrical Engineer"

to oversee and ensure the quality of microgrid container systems. The role involves

inspection, testing, and documentation of containerized power solutions, including solar inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), LV/MV panels, busbars, and control systems

. The QC Engineer will play a key role in

maintaining product integrity, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform in-process and final inspections of microgrid container systems, including electrical, mechanical, and structural elements.

Verify assembly and integration of key components: inverters, BESS, busbars, switchgear, control panels, HVAC, fire suppression, and wiring.

Ensure all equipment is installed and tested according to design drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.

Conduct and document Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Pre-Dispatch Inspections (PDI).

Review and maintain quality documentation, including inspection checklists, test reports, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

Coordinate with engineering, production, and project management teams to resolve quality issues.

Ensure compliance with international quality standards (IEC, IEEE, ISO, etc.).

Monitor and enforce EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) practices on the production floor.

Experience in quality control of power systems, containers, or modular energy solutions.

Familiar with microgrid components (solar PV, energy storage, inverters, transformers, etc.).

Working knowledge of FAT protocols, ISO 9001, and IEC/IEEE electrical standards.

Strong skills in interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Prior experience in containerized electrical systems or renewable energy projects.

Familiarity with UL9540A, IEC 62271, IEC 61439, and other standards relevant to microgrids.

Salary: 4000 - 7000 AED + Accommodation +Transportation + Visa + Insurance + Lunch (will be provided by the company) + Overtime*

Working days: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm (2 days off in a week, Saturday & Sunday)
