QC Engineer- Electrical

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspection and quality control of all electrical works in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and company quality procedures. Review electrical drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance before execution. Inspect materials, equipment, and tools delivered to site to verify compliance with approved specifications. Monitor and verify installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (LV panels, distribution boards, cabling, lighting, power systems, etc.). Ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken for any non-conformances identified. Prepare, maintain, and update inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation. Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients regarding inspections and approvals. Support in internal/external audits related to Quality Management Systems. Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards during all inspections.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (IEC, BS, NEC, DEWA, ADDC, etc.). Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents. Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and checklists. Good communication and documentation skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's Degree is a plus). Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in QC role (preferably in lighting industries). Certification in QA/QC or ISO standards (preferred but not mandatory).

UAE Driving License (preferred).
