A dual-role engineer, responsible for ensuring quality control across construction phases and performing quantity surveying functions including BOQ verification, cost estimation, and subcontractor billing.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC):
Implement quality plans, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures on site.
Conduct inspections, testing, and coordinate with consultants for approvals.
Prepare QA/QC documentation, NCRs, and method statements.
Quantity Surveying (QS):
Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and variations.
Monitor material consumption and prepare monthly valuations.
Verify subcontractor measurements and prepare payment certificates.
Coordinate with procurement for material quantity forecasting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
5+ years of combined QA/QS experience in UAE construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and contracts (FIDIC).
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Preferred Qualifications:
ISO 9001 internal auditor certification (for QA/QC roles).
Experience with commercial, infrastructure, or industrial projects in the UAE.
Working Conditions (Applicable to All Roles):
Full-time position on-site or in the project office depending on role.
Must comply with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
May involve extended working hours based on project timelines.
