Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical systems quality control, particularly within the construction sector in the UAE. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience as a Project Engineer (QC) and strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.

This role is responsible for managing and ensuring that all mechanical works meet the required standards, specifications, and regulations across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and maintain QA/QC processes for all mechanical works in accordance with project specifications and regulatory standards. Site Supervision: Oversee mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) to ensure compliance with approved drawings and industry standards. Inspections & Testing: Conduct site inspections, witness testing and commissioning, and coordinate with consultants and client representatives. o Documentation: Prepare and manage inspection requests (IRs), method statements, material submittals, and quality reports. Coordination: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and QA/QC teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns. Non-Conformance Management: Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Project Close-out: Support snagging, final inspections, and preparation of handover documentation.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of total experience in mechanical engineering or QA/QC roles. At least 5 years of experience in the UAE in a similar capacity. Strong preference for candidates with Project Engineer QC experience. Certifications: Relevant QA/QC or mechanical engineering certifications are an advantage. Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, quality control procedures, and UAE construction codes and regulations. Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS Office, and QA/QC documentation tools
. o Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
