QA/QC Engineer - Consultancy (Building & Infrastructure Projects)

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented

QA/QC Engineer

to join our

consultancy team

in

Abu Dhabi

, working on

building and infrastructure projects

. The ideal candidate will have strong

design review experience

, a solid background in

wastewater management systems

, and proven exposure to

PMC (Project Management Consultancy)

operations.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring full

implementation and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001

standards, while maintaining quality excellence across all stages of

design and construction

.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor the

Project Quality Management System (PQMS)

in alignment with

ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001

requirements. Ensure the

implementation of ISO 9001 procedures

throughout the

design and construction phases

of the project. Review and approve

design documents, material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs)

to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes. Conduct

regular site inspections and audits

to verify that quality standards are maintained and corrective actions are implemented promptly. Coordinate with

design consultants, contractors, and clients

to resolve all quality and technical issues. Oversee

QA/QC documentation

, including quality manuals, NCRs, CARs, and QA reports. Ensure compliance with

local authority standards

(ADSSC, ADDC, ADM, etc.) and international codes. Monitor

construction quality

, particularly for

mechanical and wastewater infrastructure systems

, ensuring adherence to design intent and regulatory requirements. Support

PMC teams

in developing and executing

project quality plans

and conducting

internal/external audits

. Promote continuous improvement and awareness of

quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety systems

within the project team.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical, Civil, or Quality Engineering

(Master's preferred). Minimum

7-12 years of experience

in

QA/QC

for

consultancy or PMC

within

building and infrastructure projects

. Hands-on experience in

design review

,

wastewater systems

, and

ISO 9001 procedure implementation

for design and construction. Strong understanding of

ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001

standards and their application in engineering projects. In-depth knowledge of

UAE authority requirements

(ADM, ADSSC, ADDC) and international quality standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills. Proficiency in QA/QC software tools, MS Office, and document control systems.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in

government or large-scale infrastructure projects

in Abu Dhabi. Certified

Internal Auditor

for ISO 9001/14001/45001 (preferred). Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to drive quality improvement initiatives.
