QA/QC Manager
Job Summary:
The QA/QC Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the project's Quality Management System (QMS). They ensure that all activities, from design to construction, comply with project specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. They have functional authority over all quality personnel and processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan and all related procedures.
• Manage a team of QA/QC engineers and inspectors across all disciplines.
• Oversee all quality control inspections and testing activities (e.g., NDT, welder qualifications, material receiving).
• Lead internal and external audits (client, third-party, certification bodies) and manage the audit program.
• Review and approve contractor/subcontractor quality plans and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
• Monitor non-conformances, manage the corrective action process, and track until closure.
• Report on quality performance metrics to Project Management.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all quality activities.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001) is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS, ISO).
• 10+ years of QA/QC experience in a heavy industrial environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
