We are seeking a qualified and experienced

QA/QC Welding Inspector

to join our team for Oil & Gas plant projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

GRE, NDT, and piping inspection

, with proven experience in welding inspection and quality assurance/control activities in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspection and monitoring of all welding and fabrication activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Review and verify

Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)

,

Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)

, and

Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ)

. Conduct

RTFI (Radiographic Film Interpretation)

for welds, castings, and related components. Ensure that

NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)

is performed in accordance with approved procedures and standards. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain proper documentation of inspection results. Coordinate with construction, engineering, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality-related issues. Support and ensure compliance with all

health, safety, and environmental (HSE)

regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or a related technical discipline. Minimum

10 years of experience

in

GRE, NDT, and piping inspection

, with at least

2 years dedicated to inspection roles

. Prior work experience in

Oil & Gas plants in Qatar

is mandatory. Strong knowledge of welding codes, standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO, etc.), and QA/QC practices.

Certifications (Mandatory):

CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector

or

AWS Senior CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)

certification.

ASNT Level II Certification

in relevant NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT). Additional relevant QA/QC or inspection certifications will be an advantage.
