QA/QC Inspector
Job Location: Musaffah, Abu Dhabi

Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent and experienced QA/QC Inspector to perform on-site inspections and monitor all project activities to ensure they meet established quality standards. The inspector will work under the guidance of the QA/QC Engineer and will be the frontline for identifying defects and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Inspection: Conduct daily inspections of ongoing work, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical installations, against approved drawings, method statements, and ITPs.
  • Material Receival Inspection: Perform incoming material inspections, verifying material certifications (MTC), sizes, grades, and visual conditions before they are used in the project.
  • Testing Witnessing: Witness all in-process and final tests (e.g., concrete slump tests, cube tests, hydro-test, NDT) and ensure they are conducted as per the ITP.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain all quality control records, inspection reports, and checklists. Ensure all documentation is properly signed and filed.
  • Non-Conformance Reporting: Identify and immediately report any non-conformances, deviations, or quality issues to the QA/QC Engineer. Assist in the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Tool Management: Utilize and maintain calibrated measuring and testing equipment, ensuring their accuracy and validity.
  • Site Surveillance: Monitor workmanship and site practices to ensure they align with the project's quality and safety requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma in Engineering or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in a relevant industry (construction, oil & gas, manufacturing).
  • Certifications in NDT (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT) or welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, CWI) are a significant advantage.
  • Strong practical knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying problems.
