Job Description

We are looking for a qualified

QA/QC Engineer

with strong experience in

steel fabrication

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should ensure all fabrication and welding activities meet project specifications, client requirements, and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and implement QA/QC procedures during fabrication and welding operations. Conduct inspections of materials, welds, and fabricated components as per ITPs and standards. Review fabrication drawings, WPS, PQRs, and welder qualifications. Ensure compliance with codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.). Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents such as inspection reports, NCRs, and traceability records. Coordinate with production and project teams to resolve quality issues. Liaise with clients and third-party inspectors during audits and inspections. Maintain calibration and upkeep of inspection tools and equipment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3-4 years

of experience as QA/QC Engineer in

steel fabrication

. Certification as

CSWIP 3.1

,

AWS-CWI

, or equivalent

Welding Inspector

(added advantage). NDT Level II (UT/MT/PT/RT) preferred. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, and AWS standards. Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
