We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA/QC Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in road construction and maintenance projects throughout Qatar.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control programs for road construction and maintenance projects Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations Analyze test results, identify quality issues, and recommend corrective actions Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns Prepare comprehensive QA/QC reports and maintain accurate documentation Stay updated on local and international road construction and maintenance standards Train and mentor team members on quality assurance best practices Participate in project planning meetings to provide input on quality-related matters Ensure adherence to Qatar's construction regulations and international quality standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in road construction or maintenance projects In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control methodologies Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and reporting abilities Familiarity with project management principles Experience with international quality standards and regulations In-depth knowledge of road construction materials, techniques, and maintenance practices Understanding of local and international road safety standards and regulations Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in Qatar is highly desirable
