Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

Location: Al Kifaf, near Max Metro Station, Dubai, UAE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and managing quality control processes on high-rise building projects. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically within Dubai, the QA/QC Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and company procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Identify and document non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and verify their effectiveness.
• Monitor and control testing activities, including material testing, concrete testing, and other relevant tests.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure their quality control processes are aligned with project requirements.
• Prepare and submit quality control reports to project management and client representatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage and mentor junior QA/QC staff (if applicable).
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry in Dubai, with specific experience in high-rise building projects.
• Thorough understanding of quality management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, Dubai Municipality regulations).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant quality management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• UAE driving license (preferred).
