The QA/QC Specialist will play a crucial role in upholding the quality standards and compliance requirements across all stages of interior design fit out projects. Working closely with project managers, designers, and subcontractors, the QA/QC Specialist will implement comprehensive quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement QA/QC Processes: Design, implement, and maintain effective quality assurance and quality control processes and procedures tailored to the specific requirements of interior design fit out projects.
Quality Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits of ongoing projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Documentation and Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports detailing quality inspection findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken. Maintain accurate records of QA/QC documentation for each project.
Supplier and Material Evaluation: Evaluate the quality of materials and components sourced from suppliers to ensure they meet specified standards and project requirements.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address quality-related issues, provide guidance on quality standards, and facilitate continuous improvement.
Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC procedures, best practices, and quality standards to enhance awareness and adherence.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks to project quality and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and quality enhancement throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within the interior design fit out industry.
In-depth knowledge of interior design principles, construction techniques, and materials.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma) is preferred.
Experience in Matterport will be added advantage.
