Roles & Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control:

Develop and implement quality assurance plans, procedures, and policies related to electrical and instrumentation projects. Conduct quality control inspections and testing on electrical equipment and instrumentation. Review and verify project documentation, including design specifications, installation procedures, and test reports.

Testing & Inspections:

Perform regular inspections and functional tests on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure they meet specified standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor the installation of electrical systems (wiring, panels, transformers) and instrumentation (sensors, controllers, PLCs). Check the calibration of instrumentation equipment and validate their accuracy and reliability.

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure compliance with international standards such as IEC, ANSI, NEC, or any other applicable codes. Verify that electrical designs, materials, and installation methods comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure that all electrical and instrumentation systems meet safety standards and regulatory codes.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, testing, and corrective actions. Prepare quality assurance and control reports, highlighting non-conformance issues and recommending corrective actions. Work with project teams to address any defects or non-conformities found during inspections or tests.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure quality processes are followed. Provide guidance on quality best practices, troubleshooting, and quality improvement initiatives. Support procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the materials and equipment meet quality standards.

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

oil and gas construction: 6 years (Preferred)
