Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee our projects and meet the required standards.

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the implementation and adherence to quality assurance and quality control procedures for construction projects including monitoring, inspecting, and reporting on the quality of materials, workmanship, and project processes, ensuring compliance with both company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and work instructions to ensure the highest quality standards on construction projects. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests on construction materials, equipment, and processes to verify compliance with specifications. Review and evaluate project drawings, designs, and specifications to ensure quality standards are met. Coordinate and oversee quality control processes for contractors and subcontractors on-site. Prepare and maintain quality records and documentation for audits, client inspections, and internal reviews. Identify non-conformities and work with project teams to take corrective actions to maintain quality standards. Monitor and assess the performance of construction activities, ensuring that materials and workmanship comply with contract requirements and industry standards. Facilitate site inspections and ensure all necessary testing is performed on time. Report on quality performance and issues to project managers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant Certifications in Quality Assurance/Quality Control is preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the construction industry. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards. Proven experience in inspection, testing, and reporting on construction projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with teams, subcontractors, and clients. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
