Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced

QA/QC Engineer - Aluminum & Facade

to join our project team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong

site-based experience

in facade and aluminum works, with a thorough understanding of quality standards, installation methods, and inspection procedures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all facade works are executed in compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor

QA/QC procedures

for aluminum and facade works in accordance with contract requirements, approved drawings, and applicable standards. Conduct

site inspections, audits, and material inspections

to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Verify proper

installation, alignment, and fixing

of aluminum and facade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing. Review

Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings

prior to execution. Identify, record, and follow up on

non-conformance reports (NCRs)

and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. Monitor quality performance and report progress, issues, and improvements to project management. Maintain and control

quality documentation

, including inspection reports, test results, approvals, and as-built records. Coordinate with

design, engineering, project, and site teams

to resolve quality-related issues efficiently. Provide

technical guidance

to site teams regarding quality standards, material handling, and installation procedures. Liaise with

contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors

to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Participate in

progress and coordination meetings

, providing regular quality status updates. Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are handled and used in compliance with

approved safety and quality protocols

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in

Engineering

or a related field.

3-5 years of proven experience

as a QA/QC Engineer in

Aluminum & Facade works

, with strong site exposure.

UAE Driver's License - Mandatory

. Strong knowledge of facade systems, including

curtain walls, aluminum cladding, glazing, and facade accessories

. Familiarity with

construction drawings, technical specifications, and facade installation methodologies

. Sound knowledge of

ISO 9001

, ASTM, EN, and other relevant international standards. Hands-on experience in

material inspections, testing, and submittal reviews

. Excellent

analytical and problem-solving skills

with attention to detail. Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work under pressure in a

fast-paced construction environment

. Proficient in

Microsoft Office

and QA/QC documentation tools.
