Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all construction activities, materials, and workmanship comply with approved quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections, preparing documentation, and coordinating with consultants/clients to achieve project quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with project specifications. Review method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and material submittals for consultant/client approval. Conduct inspections for materials, construction activities, and finished works. Perform and witness on-site inspections and testing as per project standards. Coordinate with third-party laboratories for testing of materials and concrete. Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications. Prepare QA/QC reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans. Maintain records of inspections, test results, approvals, and as-built documentation. Ensure proper filing and traceability of quality documents. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and site teams for inspections and approvals. Verify that subcontractors and suppliers adhere to quality requirements. Support internal and external quality audits. Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive measures. Provide training and guidance to site staff on quality standards and procedures. Promote a culture of quality and compliance within the project team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline. Minimum

08 years of experience

as QA/QC Engineer in building construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and quality management systems (ISO 9001). Experience in preparing and reviewing QA/QC documents (ITPs, method statements, checklists). Familiar with concrete works, finishing works, MEP interface inspections, and material testing. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation systems.
