Job Description

QA Manager - Dubai - UAE - Food Manufacturing Industry experience is Mandatory.

Key Responsibilities



Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies to ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, ISO, FSMS, BRC, and local regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, raw materials, and finished products.

Team Leadership & Training:

Lead and manage a team of quality control staff, providing training, motivation, and recognition to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure staff are well-versed in quality standards and safety protocols.?

Product Testing & Analysis:

Oversee microbiological testing of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products, as well as environmental and direct food contact surfaces. Analyse quality control data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Supplier & Vendor Management:

Collaborate with suppliers and co-packers to ensure that purchased products meet established quality standards. Conduct supplier audits and manage quality assurance programs for factory and warehouses.?

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality control activities, inspections, and corrective actions. Prepare and present quality reports to upper management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.?

Customer Complaint Management:

Investigate and respond to customer complaints, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Microbiology, or a related field.?

Experience:

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within the food or meat industry. Proven experience in microbiological analysis and laboratory operations.

Skills & Competencies



Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop quality control teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
